Hey Friends- as you have followed my politicking over the years, I am moving all my political emails from GabeRench.com over to Patriots for Idaho (PatriotsofIdaho.com). This has been in the works for a while, but one thing at a time:) Of course you are more than free to unsubscribe, but hopefully you will find the new resources and the new website helpful. As usual, I have created a voter guide that you can download and share with your friends for November 3rd! Actually, for those in Moscow, early voting has already started. View it, download it, and take it with you to the polls.
Just a couple points of clarification regarding my voter guide. It is best to have a contrast in voter turnout by candidate, as it sends signals. For example, I would not vote for Scott Bedke nor Brad Little, but absolutely vote for Raul Labrador. If there is a big enough gap in votes, people start to ask questions and realize that people are not excited about that particular politician. This can help setup future elections.
Remember that local elections are the most important elections, so really encourage your neighbors to get out in vote in the county commissioner race and the Moscow Levy.
This election, I am particularly praying that we can kill Prop 1 and have 80% turnout with a no vote. That is supper important and something we should be striving for in Idaho. Lets overwhelmingly communicate to the rest of the states, that Idaho has real Christian convictions about the sanctity of life. If anything that gets the vote out among conservatives is the LIFE ISSUE, so get the word out and see you at the polls. Below you will see a show where I interviewed AJ Hurley from White Rose Resistance regarding Prop 1 in Idaho, and a sermon from my Pastor, in which he preached on Prop 1 from the pulpit this past Sunday. both are worthy of your attention.
This statewide measure is an extreme abortion measure, and out-of-state money is pushing it. We must defeat it statewide.
Last thing to note here. The Moscow School District is going out for a levy. It only needs 40% to vote against it and it fails. The school district has been mismanaged for decades, attendance has been in decline for decades, and the cost of this levy on you is egregious. Vote no. I have included an image below from my friend John Slagboom, which clearly demonstrates that we should not incentivize this mismanagement.

The levy needs 60% to pass, so just 40% NO defeats it. It would significantly raise property taxes, and renters pay through their landlords. Meanwhile, enrollment has been dropping.
How and When to Vote
Election Day: Tuesday, Nov 3, 8am-8pm at your assigned polling place.
Early voting: Mon-Fri, Oct 13-30, 8am-5pm at: • Latah County Fairgrounds Events Center, 1021 Harold St., Moscow • UI Idaho Student Union Building, 875 Perimeter Dr., Moscow
Register or check your registration at VoteIdaho.gov. The pre-registration and absentee application deadline is Oct 23, 5pm.
Don’t forget to bring photo ID.
It is always a good reminder that politics is not our savior, but instead needs to be saved. The way we save politics is by faithfully giving every vote captive to Christ and be faithful stewards with that vote.
